PEEK Sheets,
Rods, Bars and Tubes provide excellent chemical resistance combined with
heat resistance to 480° F. Used in steam or boiling water applications,
PEEK experiences
no significant decline in its properties. It is inert to solvents and
resistant to a variety of organic and inorganic materials. It is a semi
crystalline, high temperature thermoplastic. It maintains its flexural and
tensile mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. It maintains
excellent dielectric properties at high temperatures and frequencies. It
is hydrolysis resistant and has excellent radiation resistance. Peek is UL
94 VO Flame Retardant. Peek is also FDA Compliant, 21 CFR 177.2415.
Peek is ideal in
replacing metal in many applications. Peek is weldable, and bondable.
